Necesito mirar ma’s peli’culas como este y escuchar espan~ol para aprender la idioma de Espan~a. Tomo un clase de Espan~ol en mi universidad pero no pienso que la clase es “efectivo?”. Tenemos tres horas de clase y una hora de laboratorio todas las semanas. Creo que aprender Espan~ol mejor debo visitar Me’xico o Espan~a en intercambios. Pero ahora, mirare’ sus peli’culas! Gracious!

This is wonderful! And so funny! I just discovered this website tonight in an attempt to find online Spanish-learning resources to brush up before heading off to Cádiz, Spain to be a Culture and Language Assistant this school year. Hello! :D I have just recently started to learn Spanish and stumbled across your podcast on itunes. I downloaded the first one available (Eva), to check it out, and was totally blown away! I understand that particular video is defiantly beyond my current skill level but I can’t wait to get there! :D I love how it is not too slow. whispers Some language learning things speak too slowly, and I think it is important to make your brain catch up to how fast people really are talking. To slow things down is not like real life. The combination of the video and the subtitles gives us the opportunity to correctly know the Spanish words as they are said and to be able to watch it as many times as needed to catch on. I also love the humor :D. Amazing! :D Will surely be watching many more videos! :D Thank you so much!

¡Estoy fascinada con vuestro método y con los temas que tratáis! Hoy descubrí vuestra página en la red y ya me tenéis dos horas sin moverme de ella. Además que se la he recomendado a mis alumnos. En un ambiente en donde aprendes el español sólo de forma clásica, esta página es fantástica como complemento para aumentar sobre todo la comprensión auditiva. Os felicito.

¡hola chicos! me encanta vuestro sitio y voy a utilizar vuestros vídeos en mi clase de e/le. Pero eso sí, hay un par de cosas que me parecen demasiado difíciles para un nivel a1, o a2, y que una clase de ese nivel no cubre: es decir, el SUBJUNTIVO y la perífrasis de Estar + gerundio.Lo segundo pase, pero lo primero… ¿no se podía simplificar la frase? aquí estamoms todavía luchando para que éstos aprendas las formas del indicativo presente… ¡un saludo desde Ámsterdam!

wow, this website is amazing! Although I used many fun sites to improve vocabulary etc I don’t know any other site like this! Great. I look forward to see all the other movies until I can handle the advanced level (!? :)) Do you appreciate some minor suggestions? Of course I don’t know whether these would be useful for other users but it would for me … the possibility to watch a movie with or without subtitles. It is so difficult NOT to read subtitles in an eyeblink that it would be helpful to be able to watch a movie without them sometimes. And a tool to make flashcards from the words now mentioned under “grammar” and also for other words that a users might not know even when they are not mentioned under grammar. Thanks again for your creative work. Are you planning to create a similar version for learning arabic soon? I would be your first user!

Hi. Muchas gracias for creating this site. My numerous learning aids (written and audio) are useful, but they don’t seem to have conversations that sound authentic and realistic. Native Spanish speakers don’t pronounce words as clearly, distinctly and slowly as people on my tapes, which is a disheartening discovery after many hours of study! Like Margaret, I find the starter level a challenge, but it’s easier than trying to watch films, the news or listen to Spanish radio, and I need to stretch myself a little to improve. I’m planning to watch each of your videos repeatedly and I’m hopeful that this will tune my ears to making sense of genuine Spanish dialogue. Keep up the good work.
