Cazar, en el sentido literal es conseguir un animal, en muchos casos dándole la muerte, en este caso, cazar se utiliza como sinónimo de ligar. Eva se queja porque hace tiempo que no consigue un hombre.

Deber de + infinitivo, es una expresión de probabilidad, cuando no estamos seguros de algo podemos utilizarla. Ejemplo: Debes de tener mucho dinero.

Shouldn’t it be more like: What are you telling me?

It definitely should be “It’s been a long time since I’ve hunted a man”, no negative construction.
Actually the translation should be “It’s been a long time since I’ve hunted a man”. The English doesn’t use the negative. Great series - thank you for this.

One thing though: “hace tiempo que no cazo a ningún hombre” translates better into “it’s been a long time since I haven’t hunted a man.”
The translation in the learning material for that particular phrase is strange, but very Spanish. I hear it all the time.
